We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, in - depth knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to drive a culture of safety throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities : Safety Program Leadership : Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures. Provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure a culture of safety at all levels of the organization. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Stay informed about changes in safety standards and update policies accordingly. Risk Management : Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety. Safety Training and Education : Provide leadership in delivering safety training programs to employees. Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure all employees receive appropriate safety education. Incident Investigation : Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses. Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans. Emergency Response Planning : Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency protocols. Safety Inspections : Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas. Collaborate with department heads to address identified safety concerns promptly. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit reports on safety performance to management.
