Our data science team sits at the heart of this innovation—building the ML and AI capabilities that power our platform end-to-end. About the Role We are seeking a highly capable Manager / Senior Manager – Data Science to lead a pod of data scientists while remaining hands-on with modeling and solution development. This is a hybrid IC + leadership role for someone who enjoys both mentoring others and diving deep into technical challenges. You will report to the VP – Data Science and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data science outcomes across Aviso's AI product stack. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of data scientists, setting direction, providing technical mentorship, and driving delivery across multiple projects. Remain individually hands-on in problem-solving, experimentation, and model development. Translate business and product needs into clear data science problems and actionable solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and GTM teams to deliver intelligent platform capabilities. Uphold best practices in model validation, reproducibility, and productionization. Communicate results and model impact to stakeholders, including senior leadership. Align team efforts with company-level ML/AI strategy in collaboration with the VP – Data Science. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in data science, including at least 2 years leading teams or pods. Strong proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow/PyTorch), and SQL. Deep understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, time-series modeling, and experimentation frameworks. Experience with cloud data stacks (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps practices. Proven track record of building, deploying, and maintaining data products at scale. Strong interpersonal skills to lead teams and communicate with business stakeholders. Experience in SaaS, RevOps, or GTM platforms is a plus. Show more Show less
