Job Description

Role

To propose and execute supply planning to translate the unconstrained demand plan into an appropriate supply plan by reviewing opening inventory levels, safety stock levels and production & material constraints to enable timely availability of products to customers.

Responsibilities

Implementation & adoption of Plan Visage.
Study existing capacity of the lines, review past line load history as per the tooling load
Propose plan as per inventory norms
Freeze monthly plan by coordinating with key account managers from production, procurement and marketing teams to arrive at a final plan
Freeze outsourcing plan after exhausting inhouse capacities as per insourcing & outsourcing strategy
Issue 6 month rolling plan based on demand, stock and capacity available
Mitigation plan for meeting monthly and 6 month rolling plan shortage against demand
Implementation & adoption of Plan Visage and MSD.
Coordinate & discuss short-term and long-term planning, gaps and mitigation plan to understand capacity enhancement and inventory
Setup change reduction plan to bring under IE norms for BBJ/TBJ/SRB/Savli/Newai e.t.c)
Making of weekly production (variant wise ) plan and Monitor daily production plan vs. actual
Process additional demand from Sales

B.E. /B. Tech. - Mechanical / Production

Key Competency : 10 years, experience of Supply Planning

Experience of manufacturing, procurement and marketing is a plus

Functional Skills

Knowledge of Bearing technology, manufacturing process and lead time
Understanding of market research
Knowledge of SAP, Excel and S&OP tool
