Job Description

As the Manager - Sales (KRISHI-EL) Drones at Eldyne Innovations Pvt. Ltd in Kolkata, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and market expansion of KRISHI-EL Agri drones across various regions. Your responsibilities will include developing sales strategies, establishing dealer and institutional networks, ensuring lead conversion and revenue collection, and conducting demonstrations and training sessions to facilitate technology adoption among farmers and Agri institutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute regional and national sales strategies for KRISHI-EL drones and accessories. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets aligned with organizational goals. - Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, retailers, and channel partners across target regions. - Design and implement trade schemes, incentive programs, and dealer engagement activities. - Train distributors and field partners on KRISHI-EL features, operational benefits, and maintenance best practices. - Conduct regular market visits to monitor dealer performance, stock levels, and service quality. - Generate leads through institutional connects such as KVKs, FPOs, CHCs, Agri Universities, and private companies. - Maintain detailed lead tracking and follow-up reports in CRM systems. - Ensure timely lead conversion and provide handholding during delivery, demo, and after-sales support. - Implement credit control mechanisms and coordinate recovery in case of overdue accounts. - Track sales margins, prepare profitability reports, and support cost-benefit analyses. - Study competitor offerings, subsidy structures, and pricing trends in the agri-tech and drone sectors. - Assist in formulating product pricing, trade margins, and commercial proposals based on costing methodologies. - Coordinate with technical and demo teams for on-field demonstrations and customer training programs. - Maintain accurate MIS reports for leads, sales, and collections. - Present monthly business reviews with key insights and strategic recommendations. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management, or Marketing. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in agriculture input sales. - Proven track record in channel/distributor management and rural market penetration. - Strong understanding of sales costing, pricing, and recovery mechanisms. - Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and sales reporting formats. - Knowledge of agrochemicals, precision farming, or drone-based agri applications will be advantageous. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
