We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Sri City Plant as Manager - Safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Regulatory Compliance & Updates:
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of EHS-related regulations and legislation.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance across all operations.
• Safety Roadmap & Planning:
• Develop and manage the Safety Roadmap, ensuring task deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager to address uncertainties and drive safety initiatives for Khuskhera Plant, Chennai Plant, Warehouses, and Offices.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
• Apply risk assessment techniques and implement actions based on results, following the hierarchy of controls.
• Ensure risk management practices are effectively applied in all areas.
• Incident Investigation & Reporting:
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and accidents using appropriate techniques.
• Prepare and submit MIS reports to local and corporate teams, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Contractor Safety Management:
• Integrate safety measures into contractor selection and usage processes.
• Contribute to contractor safety evaluations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Crisis Management:
• Actively participate as a member of the Crisis Management Committee.
• Contribute to crisis planning and ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices across operations.
• Recommend new equipment requirements and submit CAPEX requests to enhance safety.
• EHS & ISO Standards Expertise:
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience in EHS practices.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001) and promote their integration into operations.

• Graduation and professional degree in Safety and Health.
• 8-12 years of robust experience in manufacturing, preferably in reputed companies; experience in the gypsum industry is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions to ensure seamless production.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with team members.
