We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Sri City Plant as Manager - Safety.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Regulatory Compliance & Updates:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of EHS-related regulations and legislation.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance across all operations.
- Safety Roadmap & Planning:
- Develop and manage the Safety Roadmap, ensuring task deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to address uncertainties and drive safety initiatives for Khuskhera Plant, Chennai Plant, Warehouses, and Offices.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
- Apply risk assessment techniques and implement actions based on results, following the hierarchy of controls.
- Ensure risk management practices are effectively applied in all areas.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting:
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and accidents using appropriate techniques.
- Prepare and submit MIS reports to local and corporate teams, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Contractor Safety Management:
- Integrate safety measures into contractor selection and usage processes.
- Contribute to contractor safety evaluations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Crisis Management:
- Actively participate as a member of the Crisis Management Committee.
- Contribute to crisis planning and ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices across operations.
- Recommend new equipment requirements and submit CAPEX requests to enhance safety.
- EHS & ISO Standards Expertise:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience in EHS practices.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001) and promote their integration into operations.

- Graduation and professional degree in Safety and Health.
- 8-12 years of robust experience in manufacturing, preferably in reputed companies; experience in the gypsum industry is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions to ensure seamless production.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with team members.
