Role Summary

  • Manager - Regional Key Account (Exports)

    will be responsible for new business development and account management of existing clients. The primary focus of the role is to get new business from the assigned regions for flexible packaging business. This is the critical role for the organization and incumbent is expected to drive profitable business and growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow export key accounts within the assigned region to achieve revenue and volume targets.
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with international clients, converters, and brand owners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for export clients from inquiry to order fulfilment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Production, Supply Chain) to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and upsell new solutions.
  • Prepare and share regular business reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
  • Ensure effective handling of customer complaints, quality issues, and post-sales service.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends in key export geographies.
  • Support participation in international exhibitions and customer meetings.

Profile

  • Hands-on experience managing export clients in the Flexible Packaging Industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical packaging solutions and export sales cycles.
  • Client-focused with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with brand owners, FMCG clients, and converters preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Pre-requisites

  • 7-10 years of experience in Flexible Packaging or Packaging Materials industry.
  • Graduate in Engineering/Science; MBA in Marketing or International Business preferred.
  • Familiarity with export documentation, logistics, and global market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data reporting.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
