We are looking for Manager Raw Material Leather Footwear for reputed Buying agency in Chennai.

Salary - 11.00 to 12.00 Lacs

Exp. - 7 to 10 Years to source Leather.

Key role -

Development of leather articles and shoe materials according to the Brand direction.

Select new article and trends to present to design team. Work with design team closely to create new articles and suggest New articles / New Materials.

Check, evaluate and correct leather articles to ensure quality and production stability.

Sourcing to develop and maintain a portfolio for regional vendors with curated vendor/market strength, capabilities, and opportunities.

Approval of Leathers and Materials from development to production and should ensure all in accepted quality.

Take initiatives to ensure quality consistency between factory and Tanneries / Suppliers.

Should have high technical knowledge of Leather tannages , Raw materials , leather finishing process and leather testing methods.

Attend leather and materials shows as appropriate to gain perspective on newness, innovation, sustainability, and trend as it applies to the brand.
