Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end
Record to Report (R2R)
processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial reporting.
Deeply understand the accounting impact of business transactions on financial statements.
Lead or support
transitions of accounting processes
from global locations to offshore centers.
Drive
automation initiatives
and process improvement projects; exposure to
Power BI
or other analytics tools is a plus.
Interpret complex data and reports to identify trends, variances, and correlations.
Ensure
documentation, process mapping,
and continuous improvement of accounting processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments in a manufacturing setup to ensure seamless financial integration.
Track and manage team performance using
KPI metrics
and ensure delivery against agreed service levels.

Preferred candidate profile

5-6 years
of relevant experience in R2R, preferably in
GCCs
or
MNC manufacturing companies
.
Strong knowledge of
SAP
(SAP HANA preferred).
Excellent
analytical skills
and financial acumen.
Experience in delivering
automation projects
and working with tools like
Power BI
or similar.
Exceptional skills in
MS Office
, especially
Excel
,
PowerPoint
, and
Word
.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on
team-building
,
employee engagement
, and
customer-centricity
.
Excellent
communication skills
in English (both written and verbal).
Sound understanding of finance integration across functions within manufacturing.
Experienced in process documentation, redesign, and controls implementation.
