Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Implement and maintain
ISO 22000 FSMS
&
BRCGS Food Safety Standard
.
Ensure
SA 8000
social accountability compliance and Halal certification requirements.
Supervise online QC for tea bagging and packet tea lines weight, sealing, coding, and packaging integrity.
Lead certification and regulatory audits (
FA 8000
,
BRC, ISO, SA 8000, FSSAI, Halal
) with zero major non-conformities.
Conduct frequent Internal Audits.
Drive GMP, GHP, 5S, and hygiene compliance across the plant.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce deviations, wastage, and customer complaints.
Maintain QMS, SOPs, PRPs, and calibration schedules for testing and packaging equipment.

Competencies

Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination.
In-depth understanding of SA 8000, BRC,ISO, QMS, FSMS, HACCP, GMP/GHP.
Skilled in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and preventive actions.
Excellent documentation and audit management skills.
Ability to build and sustain a strong quality culture.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors/Masters in Food Technology, Tea Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
HACCP Certification mandatory
; Lead Auditor in ISO/BRC/SA 8000 preferred.
1015 years’ QA/QC experience in tea manufacturing, with minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in handling export compliance and international customer audits.

Work Conditions

Full-time, plant-based role out of Kolkata
Requires availability during audits and inspections.
Travel to Coimbatore.
