Job Description

Job Title: AutoCAD Civil Engineer (FMCG Industry) Location: Salap, West Bengal Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site Industry: FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) – Facility & Infrastructure Joining: Immediate Joiner Required Key Responsibilities Develop and edit 2D AutoCAD drawings for civil structures, factory layouts, drainage, and RCC detailing. Support the planning of production zones, utility areas, and warehouse layouts . Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants for seamless civil-engineering alignment with factory operations. Conduct site visits (when necessary) to take measurements and verify plans. Ensure all designs adhere to industrial standards, safety regulations, and local compliance codes . Must-Have Requirements Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering . Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil drafting or industrial infrastructure. Expertise in AutoCAD 2D – including layers, dimensions, scaling, and technical detailing. Proven experience with factory or industrial layouts, drainage, and RCC detailing . Must be able to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines Must be willing to work on-site at Salap . Immediate availability is mandatory. Good-to-Have Skills Prior experience in FMCG or industrial project layouts . Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination . Familiarity with building codes and industrial safety practices . Experience working with consultancies or agencies is welcome. Exposure to AutoCAD 3D or Revit (not mandatory). Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation or cost estimation is a plus.
