Store Executive

Job Title : Executive Stores Location : Howrah, West Bengal Department : Stores / Supply Chain / Procurement Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled and organized Executive Stores to support our warehouse and inventory operations at our Howrah facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for material receipt, GNR (Goods Receipt Note) preparation, and PO (Purchase Order) coordination while ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management. Key Responsibilities : Receive and inspect incoming materials as per PO/delivery documents. Prepare and maintain GNRs and update stock entries in the system. Coordinate with procurement for PO processing and supplier follow-ups . Ensure materials are correctly stored, labeled, and arranged. Issue materials as per departmental requests and maintain records. Conduct stock reconciliation, audits, and variance reporting . Maintain store hygiene, safety protocols, and documentation standards. Must-Haves : Educational Qualification : B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial or related disciplines). Experience : 2–5 years in store operations, inventory control, or warehouse management in manufacturing/ Production setup. GNR Handling : Hands-on experience in preparing Goods Receipt Notes (GNR) . PO Creation : Familiarity with Purchase Order (PO) creation and tracking . ERP Proficiency : Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally). Inventory Management : Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation. Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Excel and basic email/reporting tools. Location : Candidate must be based in Howrah . Good-to-Haves : Knowledge of safety standards, material classification, and handling protocols . Familiarity with ISO, internal audits, or store compliance practices . Strong vendor coordination and procurement communication skills. Ability to analyses inventory reports for management.
