Manager Procurement (EHV Substations)

As a Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager / Manager in Procurement (EHV Substations) at Electro Control Systems (ECS) in Noida, you will be a key member of our SCM/Procurement team, specializing in MW-scale solar projects, 132/220KV substations, and MEP projects. With a commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions that drive innovation in the energy sector, ECS is a leading EPC organization. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include leading procurement activities for 132/220KV substations to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing. You will be responsible for negotiating with vendors and contractors to secure optimal terms and pricing, as well as developing and maintaining a comprehensive supplier database to enhance vendor relationships nationwide. Monitoring market trends and pricing dynamics to optimize procurement strategies and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and industry standards will also be a key part of your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and possess 3 to 8+ years of experience in SCM/Procurement, preferably in solar power contracting, MEP, or EPC companies. Experience with EHV substations is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills, a deep techno-commercial understanding of electrical EPC project requirements, an extensive supplier network, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you should be able to work independently as well as within a team-driven environment.
