Manager- Plant Mechanical Maintenance

As the Mechanical Manager at our tire manufacturing plant in Ballabgarh, you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations within the plant. In this role, you will be expected to develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment. You will monitor equipment performance, identify areas for improvement, and lead a team of mechanical technicians and engineers for day-to-day maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will oversee the installation of new equipment, modify and upgrade existing machinery to improve productivity, efficiency, and reduce operational costs. You will also be responsible for leading, training, and mentoring a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. Your role will also involve continuously assessing mechanical processes to optimize reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will troubleshoot mechanical failures, lead root cause analysis, and implement long-term preventive actions to address repeated issues. Furthermore, you will be accountable for ensuring that all mechanical operations comply with safety regulations, implementing safety programs and procedures, and maintaining records of all maintenance activities. You will manage the maintenance budget, prepare reports on costs and downtime analysis, and oversee spare parts inventory management to avoid production delays.
