Manager - Operations & MIS

Job Title: Manager MIS (CSD & Alternate Channel)

Department: Sales CSD

Reporting To: Head CSD

Location: Kolkata -Head Office

Team: 2 MIS Co-Coordinator

Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate backend operations related to CSD and alternate channel business, ensuring smooth communication with internal teams and CSD Head Office, accurate product documentation, timely price maintenance in SAP, and effective MIS reporting to support decision-making. The role also involves supervising two team members and coordinating with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) for operational alignment and data flow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communication & Coordination

• Act as the primary backend contact for CSD Head Office, handling all correspondence and operational queries.
• Liaise with internal departments Commercial, IT, Brand, and Production for timely execution of CSD-related activities.
• Maintain effective communication and ensure proper documentation flow between all stakeholders.

2. Product Introduction & Documentation

• Prepare and manage documentation for new product introductions, graphic changes, nomenclature modifications, and factory inspections as per CSD guidelines.
• Maintain trackers for all product submissions, approvals, and status updates.
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Production teams for laboratory reports and other compliance requirements.

3. Pricing & SAP Management

• Prepare SAP invoices for price revision applications to CSD and CPC.
• Ensure regular price maintenance and updates in SAP in coordination with IT.
• Facilitate billing changes and system updates for CSD and CPC operations.
• Prepare and submit price revision applications as per defined timelines.

4. Financial Coordination

• Coordinate with the Commercial team for monitoring payments and expenses.
• Ensure timely regularization of payments and reconciliation in SAP.
• Track TDS deductions and ensure accurate updates in the system.

5. Query Resolution & MIS Reporting

• Prepare and submit timely responses to queries raised by CSD-HO and CPC.
• Generate and maintain MIS reports on pricing, product status, and payments for management review.
• Provide data-driven insights and support for audits, factory inspections, and business reviews.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong coordination and cross-functional experience (Written & Verbal).
• Excellent knowledge of SAP (Sales & Pricing Modules).
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Analytical and reporting proficiency (Excel / MIS).
• Sound understanding of CSD operations and compliance guidelines.
• Problem-solving attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Post-Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in sales operations & MIS

• CSD / Institutional channel experience is must

• Experience in SAP and coordination with cross-functional teams.
