Manager – New Product Development & 3rd Party Partnerships (Dairy Products / FMCG / Food & Beverages)

Position: Manager – New Product Development & 3rd Party Partnerships

Location: Varanasi / Jaunpur / Prayagraj Region, Uttar Pradesh

Industry: FMCG / Dairy / Food & Beverages

Reporting To: Director / Head of Business Expansion

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in a similar role

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Product Identification & Strategy

• Identify viable product categories such as ghee, sweets, flavored milk, butter, staples (atta, rice, dal), ready-to-eat/ready-to-cook items, etc.

• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify market gaps and high-margin product opportunities.

2. 3rd Party Manufacturing & White Label Partnerships

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard 3rd party manufacturing units for white label production.

• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

3. Sales & Distribution Channel Development

• Develop go-to-market strategies and expand distribution networks.

• Collaborate with existing milk network for product bundling.

4. Team Leadership & Execution

• Lead FMCG/Dairy product distribution team across UP with clear KPIs.

5. Performance Monitoring & Profitability

• Monitor SKU performance, optimize pricing/packaging, and ensure profitability.

Key Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Food Technology, or Dairy/FMCG Management.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in product development and 3rd party manufacturing.

• Strong network in Uttar Pradesh markets and vendor ecosystem.

• Proven track record in launching new SKUs and retail network building.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and supply chain understanding.

Preferred Background

• Experience in tier 2/3 town launches is highly desirable.
