Manager, Network Engineering, Global Support

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure/Engineering Manager to oversee and manage our Global Support team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Check Point and Palo Alto Firewall support and policy configuration. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. Candidates should be able to identify opportunities for the team as the team continues to grow its remit of responsibilities. This opportunity will allow the right candidate to help drive Global Support to the next level of its evolution.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto and Juniper Firewalls
• Configure network ACLs and Network devices as required
• Strong network knowledge of routing protocols, packet analysis and LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Develop and implement network policies and procedures
• Support and drive their team members to meet and exceed applicable SLAs
• Lead/Support key projects from planning to execution
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to ensure seamless network operations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Check Point and Palo Alto Firewall support and policy configuration
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE) are a plus
