Job Description

Evaluates, develops and implement changes in coding policies, procedures, and protocols
Supervise the day-to day operation of the Coding Departments to include staffing, training, coaching, performance improvement plans, problem resolution and annual performance evaluations.
Trend and analyze productivity on a regular basis and provide direction as appropriate.
Analyze and provide providers documentation education feedback.
Oversees coding audit efforts and coordinates monitoring of coding accuracy and documentation adequacy.
Collaborate with department heads to optimize revenue cycle management services.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards. Assists in the development, implementation, and management of organizational strategy, initiatives, KPIs, and/or budget and performance standards; communicates organizational objectives and goals.
Stay updated on federal, state, and payer-specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding, and billing for professional and technical services. Drive automation/ technology adoption by working closely with the product team
Strong subject matter experience Revenue Cycle Management: certification in medical billing / coding preferred. CPC Certification will be an added advantage
