URGENT REQUIREMENT: SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER - BUSINESS OPERATIONS & GROWTH

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

The incumbent will work closely with the Director and leadership team to drive operational excellence, project governance, business analytics, and growth initiatives. The role integrates executive support, interiors project operations, MIS and analytics, billing and commercial coordination, and business development support, acting as a central coordination point across Design, Projects, Procurement, and Finance to ensure timely delivery and profitable execution of interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Growth Support

  • Support leadership in identifying and tapping new business opportunities across Commercial, Residential & Corporate Clients, Developers, Architects, PMCs & Consultants, HNI/Bespoke Interiors, across national and international markets.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity mapping for potential clients, geographies, and sectors.
  • Assist in preparation of business pitches, proposals, capability decks, and RFP responses for domestic and overseas opportunities.
  • Maintain Event tracker and participate in design & interior expos both National and International, platforms focused on networking, product displays, design fairs, Events/Confluences/Conferences
  • Track leads, client interactions, proposal status, and conversion metrics through structured dashboards and MIS.
  • Coordinate with Design, Projects, and Finance teams to develop techno-commercial proposals and cost estimates.
  • Support due diligence, documentation, and follow-ups for new client onboarding and strategic partnerships.

2. Executive Support

  • Manage calendars, meetings, presentations, and follow-up action items for senior leadership.
  • Prepare project briefs, status updates, client meeting notes, and business summaries.
  • Coordinate leadership reviews with Projects, Design, and Procurement teams.
  • Handle confidential business and client information with discretion.

3. Business Analytics & Reporting

  • Create dashboards and analytical reports on project status, cost utilisation, timelines, material consumption, and vendor performance.
  • Provide trend analysis on project delays, budget variations, client billing cycles, and procurement efficiency.
  • Publish weekly and monthly MIS for management with actionable insights.
  • Track KPIs such as project progress %, variation orders, billing realisation, and resource utilisation.

4. Project & Timeline Tracking

  • Maintain comprehensive trackers for all ongoing interior design / fit-out projects.
  • Monitor milestones such as design sign-off, BOQ finalisation, procurement cycles, site execution stages, and handover dates.
  • Coordinate with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, Designers, and Procurement teams to ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Highlight issues, delays, dependencies, and escalate wherever required.

5. Billing, Payments & Documentation

  • Coordinate client billing (advances, stage-wise invoices, variation billing).
  • Track vendor/contractor bills including carpentry, civil, MEP, painting, modular, and materials suppliers.
  • Ensure verification of measurements, contractor claims, and supporting documentation before processing.
  • Work closely with Finance & Contracts teams for approvals, reconciliations, and payment status.
  • Maintain digital records of purchase orders, drawings, designs, quotations, agreements, and invoices.

6. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a single point of coordination between internal teams and senior management.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to resolve queries on billing, timelines, and material availability.
  • Interact with clients or client representatives to share project updates, documentation, and schedules as needed.

7. Operational & Process Support

  • Assist in improving project documentation processes, workflow tracking, and SOP creation.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives such as project management tools, design workflow systems, or inventory software.
  • Track material procurement, delivery timelines, and consumption to reduce wastage and rework.
