Manager - MEP Design

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the design and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and PHE systems for high-rise residential and commercial projects at Godrej Properties. Your role will involve overseeing consultants, reviewing design deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and providing technical leadership to internal teams and stakeholders. Additionally, you will play a key role in cross-functional coordination and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities: - Strong knowledge of local and international design codes and authority requirements. - Carry out and review design calculations for Mechanical and Electrical systems such as water supply, drainage, HVAC load, lighting lux levels, etc. - Prepare/review DBRs and Concept Design reports. - Experience in schematic design, space planning, and vertical shaft planning. - Familiar with LIFT traffic analysis and planning. - Capabilities in MEP infra design including flood risk analysis. - Hands-on experience with software tools like HAP, StormCAD, ETAP, Dialux, etc. - Review and approve consultant/contractor design documents, shop drawings, and material submittals. - Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other services. - Conduct site visits, respond to RFIs, and provide technical solutions. - Support tendering process and prepare authority submission documentation. - Monitor and control deliverables, review consultant invoices, and lead coordination meetings. - Supervise in-house design resources and resolve design risks or conflicts. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree (B.E. / B. Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - Diploma holders with exceptional experience may also be considered. - 9-12 years of core MEP design experience. - Hands-on experience in design and coordination of MEP systems for residential and commercial projects. - Prior experience with Grade-A real estate developers in India preferred.
