Job Description
Varthana is looking for an action oriented team member to manage the legal part of collections. The candidate will be responsible for sending the legal notices under various IPC, sending dunning letters to deliquent customers/Filing 138/Attending cases in court on behalf of the organisation. Also Candidate will be involved in designing and implementing strategies to resolve recovery cases through legal at the faster pace. Strategies would include working with the help of panel law firms or following up directly with the delinquent customers.` Specific Responsibilities Track and sending dunning letters to deliquent customers Ensure regular follow up with the panel law firms to file cases Appoint law firms at branch locations, allocate cases to file across the branches Ensure detailed background checks are done before agencies are appointed Liaison with lawyers, arbitrators for legal recourse including representing the company in courts of law and liasioning with police station Manage the sale of property after receiving court order Develop Communication/ Legal letters/ correspondence for the delinquent customers Design and circulate MIS on all aligned processes Preferred Profile Preferred is female candidate
