Manager Legal

As a highly skilled and expert Legal Counsel with 10-12 years of post-qualification experience, your main responsibility will be to support our growing Renewable Energy objectives at Siemens Gamesa. Your diverse skill set should encompass a strong background in sales and procurement transactions, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, litigation management, and transactional support. We are looking for a proactive legal professional who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Your impact will be significant as you: - Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements such as EPC, O&M, supply, lease, and other contracts. - Assist Sales, project development, and execution teams with contract lifecycle management. - Provide legal support for project acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions. - Offer legal guidance to different corporate departments including Sales, Project, and Finance. - Ensure compliance with relevant energy, environmental, and corporate laws while supervising external counsel and supporting litigation matters. - Maintain legal records, document cases, and provide mentorship on legal risks and mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders. What we expect from you: - Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.) from a prestigious institution (CLC, NLSUs, etc.) - 10-12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors, with at least 3-5 years in reputed law firms. - Strong understanding of Indian contract law, energy regulations, and corporate law. - Experience working in or with multinational corporations is desirable. - Conduct training sessions on legal and compliance matters.
