Job Description

As a Legal Counsel at Siemens Gamesa, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's Renewable Energy objectives. With your 10-12 years of post-qualification experience, you will be responsible for a range of legal activities including contract drafting, regulatory compliance, litigation management, and transactional support. Your proactive approach and ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements such as EPC, O&M, supply, lease, and other contracts. - Support Sales, project development, and execution teams in contract lifecycle management. - Provide legal support for project acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions. - Offer legal assistance to corporate departments including Sales, Project, and Finance. - Ensure compliance with energy, environmental, and corporate laws. - Manage external counsel and provide support for litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation matters. - Maintain legal records and case documentation. - Mentor internal customers on legal risks and mitigation strategies. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.) from a reputable institution such as CLC, NLSUs, etc. - 10-12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors, with at least 3-5 years in reputed law firms. - Strong understanding of Indian contract law, energy regulations, and corporate law. - Experience in working with multinational corporations is preferred. - Ability to conduct training sessions on legal and compliance matters.
