Manager - JDE Project Manager

Number of Years Experience required

• Minimum 10 years of experience.

Must have hands on experience on JD Edwards ERP software specifically of the manufacturing module for doing implementation, system design, development, reports and providing support, training to end users and super users.

Job Purpose

To assist top management in in depth exploitation and use of JDE manufacturing module; managing implementation and system design in different departments, doing development of reports and working to build up a detailed MIS system in manufacturing area to support top management decision making and providing support, training to end users and super users.

IDEAL MFG AND S&D CANDIDATE

We are looking for an ideal candidate who is highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment & will handle multiple JD Edwards Manufacturing & Sales and distribution Projects & issues which include troubleshooting, implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Strong history of successful Implementations/ Support / Upgrades Projects of JD Edwards
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks coupled with your high sense of urgency will enable you to successfully lead design sessions, manage user requirements, assist in managing the scope of a project, as well as meeting your individual project deadlines.
• Work Knowledge in Manufacturing Modules – Configurator, MRP, shop floor, PDM (both discreet and process manufacturing), ECO, Inventory, Distribution, EDI, Sales Order Management, Procurement, and Advanced Planning, Product Costing, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Plant &
• Equipment Maintenance, Resource Assignment & 3PL Service.
• Able to plan/determine/troubleshoot planning issues, supply demand, pegging of MRP, DRP
• Competency with rough cut capacity planning (RCCP)
• Competency with Quality Module
• Knowledge of Complete Supply Chain Cycle
• Ability to document current business processes and reduce inefficiencies using native JDE configurations
• Highly skilled and comfortable in leading design sessions to optimize business processes using best practice JDE functionality
• Listen to user requirements and translate into actionable tasks that are scoped, prioritized, worked on, and delivered within the agreed upon timeline with the help of Vendor
• Be an effective communicator with both Vendor and internal teams, ability to get the point across while listening to other opinions
• Propose solution improvements when deficiencies are uncovered
• When necessary, should be able to work independently on fixing JDE functional logics at Basic as well-Advanced level
• Create and modify of test scripts to fit the project
• Test the system and provide support to business users testing effort
• Lead support during go-live
• Strong debugging and SQL skills
• Experience designing and managing integration to third-party applications
• Competency with BI Publisher, Orchestrator, UX1, OneView / Watchlists, EOne Pages
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Release 23
• Assist Internal team as needed

Managed Services

• Provide broad level of support for managed services clients, including manufacturing, sales order processing, Configurator, inventory, purchasing, advance pricing, JDE Preferences, SK OK / ST OT Intercompany Process, Warehouse Management (WMS), Transportation Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), scheduling, EDI, interoperability processes, Quality Module, Lot and Serial Number Control, Electronic Data Interface and India GST, SD OD Processing.
• Leverage support knowledge to create process improvement opportunities
• Build relationships with Vendor & users
• He should have experience in Project Estimation, Planning and Budgeting, Project Executions and Controlling, Managing scope, schedule, and Monitoring Day to day activities. Weekly review and monthly reports and reports. Requirement study and man-day estimation.

Skills & Competencies Required

• 4-year degree or 10+ years of JDE E1 experience
• 10+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x
• Manufacturing and S&D experience in multiple industries preferred
• Ability to work with users and managers and vendor to interpret and document business requirements
• Experience in business process optimization and Improvement
• Ability to produce functional and technical designs for systems, interfaces, and business applications
• Ability to develop estimates and project plans for configuration and testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
