Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Manage and handle IT hw/sw/Prof Services from category management perspective. Planning strategies for IT spend aligning to Global Procurement. Early involvement with stakeholder for their requirements. Signing contracts to avoid reactive purchases. Category Management for all responsible categories Category spend Analysis Cost savings initiatives Identifying areas of improvement and enhancing infra services Stakeholder Management Preferred candidate profile : Collaboration with IT/DP/Info Sec/Legal department and other Cross functions Stakeholder education on Procurement Process Analysing and executing High value IT Projects Vendor Management for respective categories Implementing good practices Procurement Governance and control Support for Internal/External Audits Team performance evaluations Team growth and learning PR/PO/Contract management Experience Eligibility: Candidates with a total relevant experience of 10-12 years (preferably IT/ITES industry) in IT Procurement Must be well organized, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-changing, demanding environment. Willingness to be hands on is essential. Must have experience in IT category Procurement domain. Strong knowledge of local taxation Good analytical skills essential Education Eligibility Graduate in any discipline. (PG preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal, facilitation and negotiating skills.
