Job Description

Job Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the hospital’s entire IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hospital software systems such as Grapes, HIS, EMR, LIS, and PACS. The role includes system administration, data security, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and supporting end-users to ensure efficient healthcare IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily IT operations and manage all hospital software systems (Grapes, HIS, EMR, LIS, PACS).
  • Ensure seamless integration and functioning of Grapes ERP and other clinical/administrative software.
  • Maintain and monitor servers, networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and backup systems.
  • Administer user accounts, roles, and access controls across all hospital platforms.
  • Coordinate with vendors for Grapes and other software support, updates, and issue resolution.
  • Manage database backups, data migration, and ensure information security compliance.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation including credentials, asset registers, and network diagrams.
  • Provide training and technical support to staff on Grapes and other hospital software.
  • Ensure compliance with NABH and data protection standards.
  • Supervise IT team members and allocate tasks for system maintenance and user support.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in hospital or healthcare settings.
  • Hands-on experience in Grapes software and hospital management systems (HIS, EMR, LIS, PACS).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux servers, and database management (SQL).
  • Familiar with data security protocols, NABH/HIPAA guidelines, and cloud-based backup systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
