The Role
As Manager Insurance Sales Operations, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations workflow of our insurance business from quote requests to policy issuance and renewals.
You will lead a team that forms the operational backbone of insurance sales: managing quote requests across multiple insurers, coordinating medicals, punching in policies, handling renewals, resolving data mismatches, and ensuring that AssetPlus is recognized as the fastest and most reliable insurance partner by MFDs.
You will also partner with leadership to share insights on conversion performance, highlight customer drop-off points, and identify process gaps that need fixing. This is a fast-paced, metrics-driven role for someone who thrives on execution, operational clarity, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end servicing workflow from quote generation to policy issuance, including insurer coordination, documentation, and medicals.
Track and own daily TATs and SLAs for quotes, proposals, medicals, underwriting, and policy punch-ins.
Build and manage a centralized renewals system to drive persistency across products and insurer platforms.
Set up dashboards and trackers to monitor quote volumes, conversion ratios, partner-wise drop-offs, and SLA breaches.
Coordinate with insurer SPOCs to accelerate pricing, documentation, and approvals; negotiate improved turnaround times where required.
Ensure complete data accuracy and reconciliation for customer details, policy records, and payment data.
Maintain audit-ready workflows and ensure operational hygiene across all case records and documentation.
Conduct regular bandwidth analysis to understand team capacity, identify high-leverage tasks, and optimize effort allocation.
Establish a structured MIS reporting cadence (daily/weekly/monthly) for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to automate manual workflows and improve visibility across the servicing journey.
What Makes You a Great Fit
6 10 years of experience in insurance servicing, agency operations, or B2B2C sales operations.
Proven experience managing high-volume quote and policy issuance workflows with strict SLAs.
Strong understanding of life and/or health insurance processes, including underwriting, pricing, and documentation.
Hands-on experience coordinating medicals, follow-ups, and expediting insurer approvals.
Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics like quote-to-policy conversion, drop-offs, TAT, and renewal rates.
