Qualification : B.Tech /Diploma/B.Sc -MECHANICAL/METULLARGY

Experience : 10+

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible to Maintain & Control the process parameters and follow the work instructions in ingot casting.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining & controlling the process parameters and follow the work instructions in ingot casting.
To ensure proper casting of steel through ingot cast.
To ensures placement of ladle in the ladle platform.
To check the proper of all material.
To check the palte levalling .
To check the bricks ,bricks setting Work, bricks levalling, bricks Hole &bricks covering with sealing compound
To check the trumpet centering
To check the Quartz sand filling in trumpet.
To check the mould cleaning & mould set in center .
To check the hot top setting .
To check the casing setting .
To check the lifting temp. and nozzle plate and laddle life.
To help in shift working activity and supervisions of shift work.
To supervision of heat preparation work
To take center between funnel and laddle nozzle.
To interact with Work shop engineer for ingot.
To discuss with the shift operational fitter regarding any problem at Ingot site.
To follow instruction of shift Incharge and monitoring ingot casting Schedule work.
To arranging materials from store.
To check all Machines condition, bricks, hot top, mould, base plate and inform to Shift Incharge
To check the condition of equipment during casting.
To checking the mould center and hot top.
To implement the corrective and preventive action.
Check the material stock and issue from store if necessary.
To observe the operation of equipment during casting and after casting completed to check the ingot quality and take necessary action if any quality problem in ingot.
Reporting to the Head of Department on production and shift related problems.
Implementation of various systems/reports related with Safety, TPM, Quality, Productivity, Maintenance etc.
Ensure safety and housekeeping on shop floor.
