Summary : 1) The candidate will be supporting the Production Network Operations of INFINET Network 2) Monitor, track, fix and report the health status of INFINET Network 3) Escalation point for all P1 level of issues Role & responsibilities : 1) Responsible for leading and managing a team of network engineers, administrators, and technicians. 2) Provide guidance, set performance objectives, and ensure the team is aligned with the organization's goals. 3) Participate in the strategic planning process, working with other stakeholders to define network infrastructure requirements, capacity planning, and future growth strategies. 4) Collaborate with network architects and other teams to develop long-term network plans. 5) Oversee the allocation and management of resources within their team. This includes personnel, budgeting, procurement, and equipment needs. 6) Ensure that the team has the necessary tools, technology, and training to effectively support the network infrastructure. 7) Responsible for establishing and maintaining network monitoring systems to proactively identify and address network performance issues. 8) Analyse network performance data, identify trends, and implement necessary adjustments or optimizations to maintain optimal network performance. 9) Lead the incident and problem management processes, ensuring that incidents are promptly resolved, and problems are thoroughly investigated and resolved to prevent future recurrences. 10) Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to minimize the impact of network outages or disruptions. 11) Interact with external vendors and service providers to manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. 12) Evaluate vendor proposals, select appropriate vendors, and oversee the delivery of services. 13) Responsible for ensuring that the network infrastructure complies with industry regulations and security standards. 14) Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain network security measures, including access controls. 15) Ensure accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides is maintained. 16) Generate reports on network performance, incident response, and maintenance activities to provide visibility to stakeholders and executive management. 17) Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, seeking opportunities to optimize network operations processes, enhance network performance, and implement best practices. 18) Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the network infrastructure remains current and efficient. 19) Communicate with various stakeholders, including executive management, IT teams, and end-users, to provide updates on network operations, performance, and project status. 20) Act as a liaison between the network operations team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Preferred candidate profile : 1) Strong understanding of Enterprise Network, system and application level Security issues. - Mandatory 2) Routing and Switching - Mandatory 2) MPLS, SD-WAN, SDN Technology - Mandatory 3) Network Security - Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxy - Mandatory 5) Good understanding and skills in Network Traffic Engineering and Analysis - Mandatory Certification : 1) CCNP - Mandatory 2) CCIE - Desirable 2) ITIL Foundation / ITIL Managing Professional (MP) - Desirable Experience: 1) 9 plus years of experience over working on large complex Enterprise class Networks or B.Sc (Computers) with 10 plus years of working experience on large complex enterprise network- Mandatory 2) Must have handson experience in Routing protocols like MPLS (traffic engineering, L2/L3 VPN), BGP-4/MP-BGP, ISIS, OSPF/OSPFv3, EIGRP, RSVP, RSVP, LDP, VXLAN, Network Access Control, 802.1x, VPN. - Mandatory. 3) Experience on SD-WAN - Mandatory 4) Experience in Software Defined Network (SDN) - Mandatory 5) At least 3-5 years of experience in leading a NOC of L1/L2/L3 Engineers. - Mandatory 6) Extensive experience leading and managing complex internetworking solutions from design to implementation. - Mandatory 7) Experience of multi-vendor / multi-service IP networks, multi-vendor equipment and network protocols. - Mandatory 8) Experience in Video Conferencing Equipment Management and Operations. - Desirable. 9) Experience in Fiber deployment including its active components - Desirable 10) Experience in Security devices - Added advantage. 11) Experience in dealing with banks / financial institutions /NBFCs - Added advantage
