Accordion India-Network Administrator

Role Overview:

Network Administrator co-own and evolve our global network across offices and cloud environments. This role is based in our Hyderabad office, is onsite five days per week, and will partner closely with dedicated cloud, systems, and security teammateswhile remaining comfortable contributing across each domain as needed.

What You will do:

• Design, implement, and operate secure, reliable campus and branch networks using Meraki platforms (routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless) along with other technologies as required.
• Build and maintain resilient IPSec site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, and engineer a robust Internet edge with high availability.
• Own core services: enterprise routing and switching, VLAN segmentation, and network services.
• Drive cloud networking across Azure and AWS (VNet/VPC design, segmentation, routing, and hybrid connectivity patterns) in conjunction with the cloud team
• Implement monitoring and visibility via network performance monitoring and logging, define meaningful SLOs/SLAs, and tune alerting for actionability.
• Automate repeatable work with scripting (e.g., PowerShell or Python) and adopt infrastructure as-code approaches for consistent network policy and configuration as needed.
• Participate in incident response, problem management, and change control; perform root cause analysis and implement durable fixes.
• Maintain clear runbooks, diagrams, inventories, and dependency maps; keep documentation current and actionable.
• Collaborate daily with cloud, systems, and security peers on initiatives such as new office builds, landing zones, access controls, and resilience testing.

Ideally, you have:

• 5+ years of professional experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise networks at scale.
• Proficiency operating campus/branch networks on Meraki (routing, switching, wireless) with a strong grasp of routing protocols, vLANs, NAT, and high availability and proficiency with Cisco CLI and non-Meraki network equipment.
• Hands-on experience with Layer 7 firewalls, IPSec tunnels, SD-WAN concepts, and secure edge architectures.
• Practical cloud networking expertise across Azure and AWS, including segmentation, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Familiarity with Windows Server services (AD, DNS, NPS/RADIUS), enterprise Wi-Fi, and 802.1X/NAC enforcement; working comfort with Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of cloud principles and best practices (least privilege, segmentation, zero trust, landing zones, and guardrails).
• Scripting capability (PowerShell and/or Python) for automation, reporting, and configuration hygiene.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; able to create crisp diagrams, change plans, and user-ready runbooks. • Ability to work with global teams through written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading small project workstreams or mentoring junior engineers.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code approaches for network and security policy.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Network availability and performance SLOs (uptime, latency/jitter, and user experience).
• Mean time to detect/resolve incidents and quality of root-cause analysis.
• Reduction in manual toil via scripting/IaC and improved configuration consistency.
• Documentation completeness, accuracy, and on-call readiness.
• Security posture improvements: effective segmentation and well-tuned NGFW controls.
