1. Handle PF, ESI and Labour Department inspections, enquiries and compliance audits.
2. Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements at project sites.
3. Review and verify contractor documents for compliance and report to management.
4. Guide and counsel contractors on systems, procedures and statutory compliance.
5. Coordinate compensation processes for fatal/non-fatal labour accidents at sites.
6. Manage registration, license and certification processes under Contract Labour Act (CLRA), BOCW and related Acts.
7. Facilitate labour registration under BOCW and ensure welfare schemes are implemented.
8. Engage with government authorities for labour welfare activities at project sites.
9. Organize awareness programs on labour law changes and welfare schemes.
10. Ensure timely submission of statutory returns (e.g., Principal Employer - PE Annual Returns).
11. Review contractor compliance documentation and obtain compliance certificates.
12. Maintain digital records of all statutory compliance under applicable labour laws.
13. Conduct quarterly audits of contractor offices and time offices at project sites.
14. Address grievances and counsel both existing and new contractors on labour laws.
15. Handle industrial relations, disputes and represent the company before department / authorities.
16. Prepare and submit documentation for BOCW Cess Assessment and NOC for project completion.
17. Coordinate BOCW cess payment and update records in liaison with finance and authority.
