Manager – Hostels (Female Candidates Only)

We invite applications from accomplished and dynamic professionals for the position of Manager – Hostels to lead the administration, welfare, and holistic management of our women’s hostels in Coimbatore.

This key leadership role demands a blend of discipline, empathy, and organizational excellence to ensure a safe, secure, and student-centric residential environment. The selected candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the operations of additional hostels under the institution’s purview.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day administration and smooth functioning of all hostels.
• Maintain systematic records of attendance, fees, maintenance, and student welfare activities.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and security of residents in accordance with institutional norms.
• Lead a diverse team comprising wardens, caretakers, housekeeping, and security personnel.
• Handle student grievances and parent interactions with empathy and professionalism.
• Manage hostel budgets, vendor contracts, and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Supervise infrastructure upkeep, hygiene, kitchen and dining operations, and maintenance schedules.
• Implement and monitor digital and ERP-based hostel management systems.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment conducive to student well-being.
• Desired Competencies
• Proven leadership and administrative capabilities in residential facility management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Sound understanding of safety, emergency, and statutory compliance procedures.
• Excellent financial prudence, vendor coordination, and asset management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP tools, and digital communication platforms.
• High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics. Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree (Master’s level – mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in hostel or residential facility management within reputed educational institutions or organizations.
