About the Role:
As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team in software engineering, ensuring the development of robust and scalable enterprise-level applications. This role involves accountability for the teams performance and delivering software solutions that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: Manage the performance and development of a software engineering team. Oversee the design and development of software programs. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and standards. Conduct regular assessments and reviews of software projects. Address complex software issues and provide solutions. Foster a collaborative environment with other departments. Implement and maintain quality control processes. Develop project plans and ensure adherence to timelines. Mentor and coach team members for professional growth. Report on team performance and project status to upper management. Skills: Team Management: Proficiency in managing mid-sized teams of software engineers. Software Design: Advanced knowledge of software design and implementation. Performance Management: Capability to assess and improve team performance. Problem Solving: Strong skills in addressing and resolving software issues. Enterprise Architecture: Understanding of enterprise-level software architecture principles. Quality Control: Familiarity with quality assurance practices in software development.
