Manager Forecasting

As a Forecasting Manager at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in developing long-range, global forecasts that shape the future of the company's portfolio. Located in Hyderabad and part of the Strategy & Growth (S&G) organization, you will report to the Forecasting Lead of Cardio-Renal-Metabolism (CRM) Therapy Area. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams for pipeline product assessments, supporting investment decisions, and enhancing forecasting processes through innovation activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Foster stakeholder engagement for strategic forecasting, lifecycle management, BD&L opportunity assessments, and ad-hoc support. - Collaborate with team members and external vendors to deliver critical projects and build new capabilities. - Establish knowledge repositories capturing insights on brands and disease areas. - Deliver structured forecasting support with appropriate documentation and communication. - Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance expertise and improve forecasting deliverables. - Leverage new data and technologies to enhance forecasting delivery. - Support the development of advanced data visualization techniques. - Work closely with other functions to leverage synergies and ensure compliance with operational guidelines. - Support forecasting team in recruiting and onboarding new associates. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/ healthcare forecasting. - Strong ability to comprehend and synthesize data. - Domain knowledge of the global pharma market. - Proficiency in using pharma and clinical trial databases. - Experience in epidemiology-based forecast modeling. - Graduate / Postgraduate in relevant fields such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine, Science, Statistics, or Business. **Desirable Requirements:** - Exceptional business acumen and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working in a matrix environment.
