Manager Financial Reporting

As a Manager Financial Reporting in the finance and accounting department of an Investment Banking/Securities business, your role will involve various responsibilities including: - Performing month end close activities such as preparing journal entries for investment banking products like Repo, MTN, CDs, and Derivatives. - Reconciling product inventory to the general ledger and investigating any variances. - Preparing various quarterly regulatory financial reporting information. - Collaborating with external auditors to support annual audit activities. - Supporting and executing internal and external change requirements, such as new product rollouts and process improvements. You must possess the following skill set to excel in this role: - A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting. - Previous experience in financial control within an Investment Banking/Securities business is preferred. - Strong accounting knowledge. - Proficiency in MS Excel and strong numerical and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a diverse team environment. - Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
