Description
Role & responsibilities Work as part of and manage a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in better understanding and developing solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG. Review/analyse corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhancing their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives. Manage the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI), and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials. Manage engagement teams performing fieldwork, including project management, client management, review of analysis, work papers and reports and presentations. Manage client relationships, business development efforts, and drafting thought leadership, as well as internal collateral and pieces of training on sustainability and ESG topics; work closely, but independently, under the direction of team leadership. Support clients in their ESG-Decarbonization digital transformation Overall management of projects, ensuring quality and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and manage budgets. Coach junior team members to develop new skills, monitor their performance, support their development and help manage their career growth. Experience in supporting a team in developing, growing, leading, and inspiring strong teams with a relationship-building management style Ability to quickly learn concepts outside of your area of expertise. Preferred candidate profile BE/MTECH/PHD preferably from a reputable university Deep understanding of the global, regional and local ESG/Sustainability and Decarbonization standards Experience with sustainability consulting is required (including sustainability strategy, reporting and impact measurement)
