Technical Skills

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation OR equivalent. MBA/PGDM in Supply

Chain/Materials Management is desirable.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in electronics procurement, with at least 3 years in smart meters /

consumer electronics / EMS / semiconductor procurement.

  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of electronic components used in smart meters (MCUs, metrology ICs, RF/

wireless modules, PCBs, sensors, power supply components).

  • Knowledge of domestic and international supplier ecosystems (India, China, Taiwan, Japan, Europe).
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation, vendor development, and cost benchmarking skills.
  • Analytical mindset, cost-focused, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.
