Define and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines to support a safe and sustainable work environment.
Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Stay up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
Identify EHS compliance gaps and implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and environmental impacts.
Implement appropriate risk control measures and collaborate with teams to ensure execution of emergency response plans.
Design and deliver EHS training programs, including safety orientations, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
Ensure all employees are informed about and compliant with safety protocols and procedures.
Lead investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Analyze root causes, document findings, and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
Conduct regular EHS audits and site inspections to assess compliance and highlight areas for improvement.
Develop and track corrective action plans based on audit outcomes and ensure timely resolution.
Initiate and manage environmental sustainability efforts such as waste reduction, pollution prevention, and energy conservation.
Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics and sustainability progress.
Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
