Job Description

Manager for Customer Insights and Research

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Research & Insights:

  • Design, conduct, and analyze comprehensive qualitative and quantitative research studies, including surveys, interviews, and user feedback sessions, for all products of Wadhwani Foundation.
  • Identify crucial customer needs, pain points, and preferences, and meticulously analyze user behavior to directly support product development and continuous improvement.
  • Compile complex research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for various cross-functional teams.
  • Survey Design & Execution:

  • Identify and develop highly effective survey instruments meticulously tailored to specific research goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of surveys, diligently ensuring high response rates and impeccable data integrity.
  • Manage and analyze survey data to uncover meaningful trends and drive actionable insights.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with product managers, designers, engineers, and program teams to seamlessly integrate research findings into product and service enhancements.
  • Clearly and persuasively communicate complex research insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders through impactful presentations, detailed reports, and intuitive dashboards.
  • Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain organized and meticulous records of all research data, ensuring absolute accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare detailed and insightful research reports that highlight critical insights, emerging trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously refine research methodologies and tools to significantly enhance their accuracy, reliability, and overall effectiveness.
  • Stay thoroughly informed about the latest best practices in research methodologies and analytics tools, actively implementing innovations as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Sciences, Psychology, Market Research, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Proven experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research or customer insights within product-focused organizations or leading market research organizations.

Skills

  • Research Tools:

    Proficiency in survey design tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Wufoo, Qualtrics) and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R).
  • Data Visualization:

    Familiarity with data visualization tools to present insights effectively.
  • Analytical Acumen:

    Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong ability to interpret complex datasets to derive meaningful conclusions.
