Manager - Corporate Communications Group

As the Manager of Corporate Communications Group at Hitachi India Private Limited, your primary responsibility will be to work with full dedication and commitment towards meeting the organizational goals outlined in the 2027 Mid Term Management Plan and India Business Strategy. You will be required to support the entire Hitachi group and business divisions in India for the successful implementation of their brand activities upon request. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting all activities and functions of the Corporate Communications Group, as well as implementing two to four proactive initiatives for performance review purposes. You will be expected to handle projects independently from initiation to completion, including preparing documentation and following laid down guidelines. To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to uphold the credibility of CCG by taking proactive initiatives and aiding the organization in achieving its future objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dynamism, outgoing nature, and the capability to enhance Hitachi India's image as a reputable brand in the country. A deep-rooted experience in managing media queries, drafting impactful content, organizing press conferences, and maintaining strong relationships within the media fraternity is essential. You should also be proficient in risk mitigation, conducting media round tables, media training, interviews, crisis management, and staying updated on developments in the B2B space, particularly in Railways, Digital, Urban Mobility, and the Financial Ecosystem. Moreover, the ability to write compelling articles, respond to media queries within the organization's realm, and lead projects independently with minimal supervision is crucial. Hitachi India Private Limited is seeking a candidate who can make a long-term commitment to the role. The minimum qualification and experience required for this position include a minimum of 9-10 years of experience in Public Relations (Media Relations), Internal branding, and Advertising. Candidates with additional experience in CSR and digital aspects will be given preference. It is essential that candidates have previously worked in PR, advertising, and communication roles in either PR and Advertising agencies or esteemed organizations within the same field. Candidates lacking experience in PR, advertising, and communication will not be considered for an interview or the first round of screening.
