Job Description

As a Continuous Improvement Manager at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in leading global ISV focused programs and projects to address critical business challenges. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance fulfillment models, quote speed, and other business-related priorities. - **Process Redesign:** Design and implement methodologies to identify and prioritize high-impact improvement projects for the business, functions, and sites. - **Project Execution and Accountability:** Drive and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of Continuous Improvement programs globally, facilitating smooth handovers and ensuring sustained improvements. - **Complete End to End Change Management Ownership:** Organize cross-functional teams, lead kaizen events, project manage the team, and track successful implementation using data. - **Culture and Collaboration:** Promote a Continuous Improvement culture, redefine lean tools, and facilitate departmental projects. Collaborate with department champions and leadership on various initiatives. To excel in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field. - Proven experience in lean and continuous improvement projects within a global or cross-functional setting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions. - Experience influencing cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills. - High adaptability, innovative approach, and ability to drive initiatives forward in fast-paced environments. - Flexibility for travel on a project-by-project basis. Preferred qualifications that set you apart include Lean Six Sigma certifications, Kaizen Facilitator experience, and knowledge of the Industrial Valves industry.
