Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Market Research Specialist with a strong foundation in market research esp. quantitative research and a working knowledge of qualitative methods to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on researcher who is passionate to gather, analyse and draw findings related to smartphones and tech products, eager to extract actionable consumer insights that inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute end-to-end primary research projects primarily quantitative. Design discussion guides, questionnaires and survey instruments tailored to varied research objectives. Conduct consumer interviews, facilitate fieldwork, and moderate research sessions when needed. Manage secondary research to complement primary insights and track category trends. Analyze data, interpret results, and develop actionable insights to support product, marketing, and strategy teams. Collaborate with external research agencies, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables. Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Sales, UX) to identify research needs and embed insights into decision-making. Present findings in a structured, concise, and impactful manner to internal teams. Comfortable with travel for field research, group discussions, ethnographic studies, and in-person interviews. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 4 years of experience in market research, with a strong focus on quantitative methodologies. Experience in both primary and secondary research across the entire research lifecycle. Proficient in survey design, research instrument design, data analysis and reporting with effective presentation skills Analytical ability to un-earth insights from large sets of data and present findings. Advanced excel skills and PowerPoint is a must. Prior experience working with survey tools is a plus. Exposure to qualitative research methods (IDIs, FGDs) is an advantage. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into insights and business implications. Passion for smartphones, consumer electronics, and emerging technologies. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
