About the role:
We are looking for experienced City Marketing candidates to drive our growth and own market share in a specific city. This is a critical role responsible for developing and executing a hyper-local marketing strategy, ensuring our brand resonates with the community and delivers results across all online and offline channels.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and Execute City-Level Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive marketing
plans tailored to your city. You will be responsible for the overall results, ensuring PTM captures and maintains market leadership.
2. Hyper-Local Communication: Create and manage local marketing communications in the native language, leveraging deep regional insights to connect with the local audience.
3. Offline and Online Growth: Own the full marketing funnel for your city, driving growth through
a mix of channels, including local partnerships, events, and performance marketing.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for your city, working closely with national teams responsible for referrals, performance marketing, and third-party online merchants. You will ensure a seamless flow of information and execution.
5. Brand and Awareness: Provide critical local insights for any city-level brand or awareness
campaigns, including those in local languages. Your input will be essential for making sure our
campaigns are relevant and impactful.
6. Partnership Building: Identify and build strong, strategic partnerships within the city to expand our reach and influence.
7. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze city-level results across all channels to optimize strategies and ensure we achieve our market share goals.
Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Minimum 7-8 years experience in marketing, with a strong background in regional or city-level
roles. and minimum 4 years in consumer Marketing is mandatory.
Preferred a native speaker of the city's primary language with a deep understanding of the local culture, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
Experience in fast-paced, consumer-facing industries like FMCG, fintech, Telecom is highly
preferred.
Proven ability to develop data-driven marketing strategies and translate insights into action.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively manage relationships with both local partners and national teams.
A self-starter who is results-oriented and takes full ownership of their city's performance.
Education:
Post-graduate in MBA is preferred.
