Job Description

As the Manager Category Management Business Unit Running at our organization, you will be responsible for driving the category business Net Sales in Emerging Markets. Your role will involve being the expert for the Emerging Markets category, understanding consumer trends, distribution opportunities, and competitor strategies. Collaborating with the Senior Manager & the BU Lead, you will execute seasonal, fiscal, and long-term strategic plans to increase profitable market share for the category. Your success will depend on collaborating with EM cluster/country organizations and Channel teams to identify and address business opportunities in the market. Additionally, you will work closely with the Global Business Unit throughout the seasonal Go-to-Market process. Your responsibilities will include executing defined BU Running KPIs with the objective of growing the business across EM Countries & Channels, as well as overseeing the seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) process and calendar milestones for the category in Emerging Markets. You will also be responsible for delivering an effective Emerging Markets Range that allows Clusters to maximize their opportunities and building a Category Common Range as the foundation of EM Range. Furthermore, you will drive decision-making through data analytics & category tracking paired with consumer trends and market opportunities. Acting as the interface between the Global Business Unit (BU) and market stakeholders, you will collaborate with various teams to deliver Category activations & Credibility moments with impact and perform category analysis. Key Relationships for this role include EM Horizontal Brand Teams, EM Cluster Category Management/CTC teams, EM Hub Channel teams, EM Demand Planning & SCM, and the Global Running Business Unit. To qualify for this position, you should have a passion for Running, Sports, Fitness & Fashion, strong analytical skills, and experience in Category Management and Merchandising. A consumer-focused approach with deep product and range understanding is essential, along with strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of Product Management and Merchandising experience, a university degree in business or fashion/sports, and strong MS-Office skills.
