Job Description

Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for key accounts to meet personal and team sales targets.
Manage Steam Turbine bids for all turbine ranges from Bengaluru, including budgetary and firm bids, tender evaluation, and approval processes.
Prepare Heat & Mass Balance Diagrams and perform preliminary turbine calculations.
Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and project management teams for bid approval.
Engage with customers, consultants, and vendors for techno-commercial discussions.
Maintain and update CRM systems and MIS reports.
Collaborate with global sales and application teams for technical inputs and specifications.
Lead the calculation team for Steam Turbine Business and deliver pre-order support (Sales & Bid team) and post-order project engineering.
Participate in client and consultant technical discussions and support after-sales business teams in refurbishing, retrofitting, and power enhancement requirements.
Conduct new product development (NPD), product and cost optimization activities, and standardization.
Provide knowledge in relevant standards applicable in design IEC, DIN, API, PT6, NEMA, etc., and understanding of IMS.
Work closely with peer teams within engineering and cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives, while also training, mentoring, and coaching team members.
Support field service engineers with erection, commissioning, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting of turbines and accessories.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or a related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in proposal/tendering for rotating machinery or steam turbine projects.
Familiarity with API 612/611, P&IDs, and datasheet preparation.
Proven experience in technical proposal closure with clients and consultants.
Strong technical understanding of steam turbines, thermodynamics, and turbine performance.
Knowledge of connected equipment (generator, gearbox, oil system, piping, etc.).
Excellent coordination and communication across functions and global teams.
Analytical mindset with sound technical and commercial risk evaluation.
Proactive, disciplined, and a strong team player with a go-getter attitude.
