Manager (Bought Out Vertical)

Responsibilities

Strategic and Planning:

• Define and drive the sourcing and cost optimization strategy for the Bought Out category.
• Prepare and manage

  Bought Outs Budget

  for Engineering & ACGi.
• Drive

  long-term business continuity

  and ensure compliance with business rules.
• Oversee

  inventory management

  monitor, review, and drive actions to reduce free and non-moving inventory.

Functional Core:

• Conduct

  spend analysis

  to identify high-cost part families and cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate

  vendor strengths and weaknesses

  and implement improvement plans.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers based on QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) parameters.
• Drive

  de-risking initiatives

  by developing alternate sources and onboarding new technology suppliers.
• Lead

  commercial settlements and rate contracts

  with synergy and high-value suppliers.
• Monitor and adopt

  new products and technologies

  relevant to ACG's machine manufacturing business.
• Ensure strong

  process orientation

  , identifying and bridging operational gaps.
• Demonstrate awareness of automation and bought-out components such as HMI, PLC, servo motors, switchgears, drives, pneumatics, sensors, IPCs, and bearings.
• Drive

  digital initiatives

  such as Sourcing Analytics, SRM, ME11/ME12, MRO Outsourcing, and Online Auctions.
• Utilize

  SAP MM module

  for material management, sourcing, and vendor evaluation processes.
• Lead

  cross-functional teams (CFTs)

  for strategic sourcing and cost-reduction projects.
