Required Key Skills:

1. Having experience Automotive / Metal Cutting industry.

2. Assembly process of Gear box, Pump and Injection Systems.

3. Working Knowledge & Experience in

• Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
• Development of SPMs & Process of proving out in SPMs.
• Poka Yoke Vision system
• Fixture design & Assembly Tool design and selection
• Selection of Assembly power tools like DC Nut runners, electrical torque

Wrenches.

• Development of Assembly test rigs using torque, flow & temperature sensors.
• APQP, PFMEA, operation flow stage drawing & SOP.
• SPM’s using load cell, LVDT & PLC (programme Logical Controller)
• Auto Cad, Solid Works, Excel & PPT.

Assistant Manager (External components and Machining)

Department: Manufacturing Engineering

Qualification & Experience: B.E with 10 years and above

Work Location: Viralimalai, Pudukkottai District

Required Key Skills:

• Having experience in auto / auto-ancillary industry in assembly shop from industry

doing machining of cast iron, steel parts

• Knowledge and experience in Fixture designing, cutting tool selection designing

and development of special cutting tools and knowledge in process parameter

optimization.

• Able to work for Tool cost reduction, Cycle time reduction and set-up time

reduction.

• Working experience in proving out new process and handing over the same for

regular production.

• Knowledge in conventional, PLC and CNC machines of types - CNC lathe, VMC,

HMC,

• Able to work and develop SPMs for special machining process.
• Able to decide the machining process sequence, Type of machines and tools for a

part for a given volume (takt time) and to achieve desired Quality parameters

• Plan, design and implementation of poka-yokes (mistake proof) in process
• Knowledge in design / selection of right gauges
• Working experience for New product development (APQP), and FMEA
• Able to work in Autocad & Solidworks
• Knowledge in SPC & Process capability studies
• Exposure & working experience in HMC and VMC machines. Able to do process

planning, fixture design, tooling design & selection, CNC programming & proving out

in machine.

• Capable of doing cycle time reduction & process capability, improving in HMC &

VMC.

Language Known: English, Tamil (Speak, Read & Write)
