Job Description

Role Overview: At AAVIS Engineering & Quality Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we provide a great work environment with excellent opportunities for career growth. As a Manager / Assistant Manager in New Product Development, you will be responsible for either Machining or Fabrication processes. Your role will involve working on new development items, cost estimation, documentation, and process optimization to ensure maximum output. Key Responsibilities: - BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience in New Product development, Cost Estimation, and documentation. - Experience in Various processes like Machining, Stamping, welding, and fabrication. - Ability to draw process flow for new development items. - Good knowledge of Raw material properties and selection based on requirements. - Strong in cycle time calculation and process optimization. - Knowledge of Special processes like heat treatment, Plating, galvanizing, shot blasting, paintings, coatings, etc. - Knowledge of machine hour rates of various processes. - Strong in Cost estimation and negotiations. - Basic knowledge of ISO and IATF systems. - Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid works. - Concept framing based on customer inputs for proto sample development. - Knowledge of inspection methods and using measuring instruments. - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing techniques. - Prefer candidates from engineering OEMs or Automotive industries. - Good oral and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in documentation (PPAP, CP, PFD, PSW, 8D) as per customer requirements.
