Manager - Applications Engineering

The Applications Manager role involves acting as the lead technical products liaison for the customer. You will analyze the customer's needs to provide efficient product design and development engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include coordinating product materials, manufacturing processes, testing, quality, project management, and troubleshooting for successful project development and release. Additionally, you will manage the CAE team, work with associated departments, and provide technical assistance and mentoring to other group members due to your advanced technical knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the daily activities of the Technical Sales Engineers (TSEs), providing technical support, leadership, and mentoring. - Monitor and meet deadlines for responses and actions committed during customer interactions. - Ensure uniform quotations throughout the department according to Company standards. - Drive new product commercialization projects by identifying and eliminating obstacles, establishing clear tasks, and providing credible timetables. - Support technical inquiries and recommend suitable hot runner systems to customers. - Keep customers and sales representatives informed and maintain customer standards in designs. - Attend technical meetings, reviews, and start-ups to ensure successful application of hot runner systems. - Keep up to date with technological developments related to hot runners systems by attending training courses and industry meetings. Qualifications: - University Degree in Engineering with a minimum of twelve years related experience or CIPET/NTTF with a minimum of 15 years related experience. - Experience with SAP or an ERP system preferred. - Minimum 4 to 5 years" experience in Hot Runner system development. - Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organizational skills required. - Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
