Job Description

Role Overview: Join the Global Digital HR team at Hitachi Digital Services India Private Limited, where you will be at the forefront of reimagining how over 250,000 employees experience HR through technology, data, and design. As the Manager of AI and Automation, you will play a crucial role in leading global initiatives that leverage cutting-edge AI and automation to drive the future of HR. Key Responsibilities: - Lead global AI/automation initiatives from concept to deployment, taking ownership of end-to-end delivery in a vendor-partnered model. - Identify high-value use cases across the HR lifecycle where AI and automation can deliver measurable impact, such as talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, learning, and workforce analytics. - Collaborate with HR COEs, IT, and vendors to define requirements, evaluate technologies, and ensure successful implementations. - Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in alignment with the global DHR strategy. - Implement agile and iterative delivery models to drive continuous improvement and scale successful pilots into global rollouts. - Ensure ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI by embedding guardrails for data privacy, bias reduction, and regulatory compliance. - Drive adoption and change management through stakeholder engagement, training, and capability-building. - Monitor outcomes and ROI, refining solutions to enhance efficiency, user experience, and business impact. - Stay updated on emerging trends in AI, automation, and digital HR technologies to bring thought leadership into the organization. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in HR, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in HR technology, AI/automation, or digital transformation roles within global or matrixed environments. - Proven track record of leading AI/automation projects in HR or related domains. - Strong understanding of HR platforms, particularly Workday and ServiceNow. - Familiarity with leading AI platforms/tools such as Microsoft Copilot, UiPath, Azure AI, and Google Cloud AI. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to articulate complex technology in terms of clear business value. - Proficiency in problem-solving, vendor management, and program delivery. - Enthusiasm for innovation, continuous learning, and driving digital change at scale.,
