Job Description

As a Senior Manager - Accounts at Vilvah Store Private Limited, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Finance Team. With over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills. Your role will involve financial leadership, planning, analysis, accounting, reporting, cash flow management, risk management, team development, and stakeholder engagement. You will lead and manage the Finance Team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure sound financial management and compliance will be crucial to your role. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory reports will be part of your responsibilities. Supervising the preparation and filing of all statutory returns and compliance-related documents, as well as coordinating external audits and liaising with auditors, will be essential tasks. You will also oversee cash flow management, optimize the company's financial position, and identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization. Mentoring and developing the Finance Team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, and promoting professional growth and career development will be important aspects of your role. You will collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives, as well as maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, CPA, or CMA certification is highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, is required. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements is essential, along with proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial management. Excellent leadership, team management, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills are also necessary. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems is preferred.,
